Frequently asked questions
How long does the fragrance last?
Smriti perfumes are made with pure, concentrated oils and ingredients, alcohol free and crafted in the traditional way. Because of this, the fragrance rests close to your skin and blooms with warmth. Depending on your body heat and environment, our perfume rollers can last 6 to 12 hours.
Are the perfumes unisex?
Yes. Just as devotion has no gender, our fragrances are for anyone who feels called to them. Each perfume carries an emotion, a deity, or a memory, not a label of “for him” or “for her.”
I have sensitive skin. Are these safe to use?
Smriti perfumes are alcohol free, crafted only with natural and safe ingredients. They are gentler than most commercial perfumes. Still, if you have very sensitive skin, we recommend doing a patch test on your wrist before daily use, or applying on clothes instead of directly on skin.
Do you use synthetics in your perfumes?
No. Every Smriti perfume is 100% natural and non alcoholic, made with sacred botanicals, resins, and flowers traditionally used in attars. Each drop is slow distilled and hand blended, a craft passed down through generations.
How should I apply the perfumes?
Apply gently on pulse points such as wrists, behind ears, and neck. You may also rub a little on your clothes or prayer shawl. Because they are oil based, a small amount goes a long way.
Can I offer these perfumes in puja?
Yes. Smriti perfumes are inspired by deities and made with pure oils. Many customers use them as part of their morning ritual, puja offerings, or meditation practice. They are both a fragrance to wear and a sacred presence to invoke.
